Welcome to all supporters of the Soham Pumpkin Fair.
This year will be the 52nd year of the Soham Pumpkin Fair and we are looking to bring a Caribbean flavour to Soham on the 26th September.
The theme for this year is "pumpkins of the caribbean" which we hope will inspire entries to the many competitions running.
For this year only we are running an additional competition for the edible pumpkins grown and used in the Caribbean.
We have obtained a supply of seeds which are free to those wishing to grow pumpkins to enter. The stock of seeds is finite so be sure not to miss out.
Seeds can be requested via the contact details on the website.
In addition to familiar attractions including ferret racing we are pleased to announce we will have a pirate bringing their show from the Edinburgh fringe.
Further events will be announced throughout the year so keep an eye out for updated listings on the website and in the brochure.
On the morning of the 26th the fair will be open for competition entries , and we look forward to meeting all the entrants.
The fair will be open to the public in the afternoon , be sure to come along , have a good time and support our nominated beneficiaries :
Soham food bank (run by Ely food bank) , the Weatherall's school and Soham United football club.
This year we will be without the services of Jenny Fletcher. Jenny has been an integral part of the committee for many years
and we would like to take this opportunity to thank Jenny for her efforts in making the Pumpkin Fair the successful event it has become.
We look forward to welcome you all at the pumpkin fair on the 26th September.
