Dear Friends of the Pumpkin Fair,

Welcome to the 52nd Soham Pumpkin Fair!

The fair has been running since 1975 and last year we were able to give away a total of £4,000 to Ely Baby Bank, Arthur Rank Hospice Charity, VCAEC Helping Hands Gardening Scheme, 2nd Soham Rainbows and 2nd Soham Brownies.

This year's beneficiaries are Soham Food Bank, Soham United Football Club and Weatheralls HSA and our theme is ‘Pumpkins of the Caribbean’.

What should now follow is an explanation of what will be going on at the fair this year, but we are all too busy scouring seed catalogues for Caribbean pumpkins (there is one, it's called Calabaza) and checking up on the adventures of Jack Sparrow to have written anything yet, but keep coming back here to see what we have been doing this year.

There will also be Bygones, Charity Stalls, a Funfair, Refreshments and our Prize Giving Ceremony to round off the afternoon.
